Diving courses

Diving courses are offered by the three large training organisations CMAS, PADI and SSI. The range of courses includes taster sessions right up to professional entry level. All diving centres offer courses in various languages and also always in German.

CMAS: International governing body for scuba divers. The German Diving association VDST is a member of CMAS. The training levels range from one up to three stars, the VDST-equivalent is bronze, silver and gold.

PADI is an American training organisation which is an association of diving instructors.

SSI is a German training organisation which is an association of diving schools.
